Big Sur Health Fair

Each year the Center holds a Health Fair in October. In past years, the Fair has included:

• Assessments of cardiovascular disease risk
• Cholesterol & blood sugar testing, with heart health and diabetes education
• CHOMP Blood Mobile
• Physical therapist with posture and gait analayis, with evaluations of Workplace body mechanics
• Eye exams
• Free flu shots
• Asthma screening
• Breast care
• Cancer education & prevention
• Weight management education
• Massage and healing touch
• Organic salad bar and garden burrito bar
• Activities for children, including: storytelling, ribbon dancing and art projects.
• Health guidance books and other health education.
